On Middle Orient, I wish to highlight some of the most important current events transpiring in the Middle East  along with regular contributors such as Elias Bejjani, a Canadian-Lebanese journalist, political commentator & human rights activist.  The articles shall both be informative and commentary. My goal is to bring insightful commentary without bias as much as possible.  Unfortunately, media bias abounds and due to this, there are many distortions, which as a result affects public opinion, often swaying it in the opposite direction of what it would, had the disinformation been honest and factual.

Of course, though this is a Middle Eastern focused blog, there will be events or mention of individuals whether from the Americas, Europe or from “down under” as they pertain to Middle Eastern subjects.
